At Daneman Video Productions we offer two choices in regards
to the length of the finished full-length wedding video. The standard
Documentary style video will be carefully edited to approximately
1-½ to 2 hours. This video is for the person who wants
the full-length ceremony and edited reception. The ceremony will
start with a short montage of shots prior to the ceremony and
then the ceremony begins with the seating of the mother through
to the end when the bride and groom are introduced as the newly
wedded couple. Your reception will include toast and formal dances
in their entirety. The fun dancing is edited down to approximately
15 to 20 minutes.
Our more condensed video referred to as Cinematic style, is a
tightly edited video, which typically shortens the ceremony to
approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Careful not to cut any important
parts, we are able to present the ceremony from beginning to end
with a much more interesting fast forward proof style. The reception
is also condensed with formal dances shortened and toasts, if
needed. Your fun dancing is edited into a five-minute montage
with a fast paced feel. This style will generally wind up at about
45 minutes to an hour in length, perfect for the couple who finds
themselves bored watching their friends wedding videos.
In addition, we offer a Re-cap, which is a 12 – 15 minute
highlight of the day’s events.
Definitely one of our most talked about add-ons. Our highlights
are more than just highlights set to music like most production
companies produce. We make sure to include original audio where
it is pertinent for a more three-dimensional feel. You will still
hear your vows carefully edited together, your announcement as
husband and wife at the ceremony and reception, snip-its of toasts
and the fun farewells as you exit your reception. It takes a lot
of time to edit a highlighted video this way. It is not unusual
for us to spend 12 – 15 hours just on this one small segment.
Perfect for when your friends come over and you don’t want
to watch your full-length video. |
