10) What are sound bites?
Sound bites are one of the newest ways to add a storytelling style to your wedding video. We record your voice only from questions we ask you. We then take you and your fiancées answers and edit to help tell “Your Story.” Picture a shot of your bride to be preparing for the day. She’s looking in the mirror, straightens her veil and your voice comes in talking about how beautiful she is inside and out, how you have found the most special person, your best friend in her, partner for life. It might be a shot of you and your groomsmen, helping each other with your jackets and ties and your voice comes in to say, “It means so much to have my closest friends here to share in one of the most important times in my life.” Sound Bites are the perfect option for a couple who love the idea of a Love Story Video, but don’t want to go through the production of a separate video. Some of the same questions that make up a Love Story are included in the Sound Bites questions. Describe her/him as if you were speaking with someone who had never met her/him before. Tell me about your proposal. What are you looking forward to in your future together? We sometimes get the parents involved if they are willing. Parent Sound Bites can add a lot of emotion and sentiment. Some couples choose to have the Sound Bites mixed into the “Pre-Ceremony” segment as a storytelling opening to their video. You can also have the option of mixing them throughout the video when choosing the more condensed Cinematic Style Wedding Video.
